I must stop at Uglie Mugs Coffee Shop whenever I camp at the OBX. I love the coffee! I love the art! I love the people who work there! And today I ate the most FABULOUS cherry turnover straight out of the oven! My life is changed forever. The place gets better every year.

I was traveling near Avon and needed to print some documents. It was Sunday and everywhere I tried was closed. Someone suggested ugly mugs, coffee house. Their free Wi-Fi and printer saved the day. The coffee was delicious and the staff showed genuine hospitality. I am in their debt. if you’re in the Avon area come in and give their products a try.

This coffee shop is lovely. Greeted by a colorful, organized menu with plenty of options for all kinds of kinds. Fresh baked goods all the offerings you could want! I had the pleasure of enjoying a August special, the Rocky Road Latte! Highly recommend. Lots of art and beads to purchase if you’d like to support small artists. Love this small business!

best coffee i had on my trip !! service is great and fun we came back everyday. the muffins are super delicious and moist definitely a must try. will be seeing them again next year for sure :)

We came here to make bracelets and it was amazing! Staff was very kind and there were plenty of options to choose for a bracelet bead. We also got a cloud 9 and it was delicious! This is one of my family's favorite places to go and I can see why!
